The Millis Garden Club and Millis Lions Club want to thank all of the volunteers who participated at the 8th Annual Millis Beautification Day event on Saturday, April 14, 2012.
A record number of one hundred fifty six volunteers, including over one hundred students, cleaned and spruced up sixteen sites around Millis. Sites included the Library, the Veteran's Memorial Building, South End Pond, Richardson's Pond, the Potpourri Garden, all of the Schools, their athletic areas and playgrounds and multiple streets in Millis.
In addition, we want to thank the following businesses, groups and individuals for donating funds to support the event: Roche Bros., Dunkin Donuts, Millis Used Auto Parts, Twist Bakery, LANConnect Systems, Campbell Supply Co., Inc. of Wellesley, the Millis High School Student Council and Millis Garden Club members. Mark your calendars now for next year as we hope to see you all again on Saturday, April 13, 2013.

Garden Therapy at the Senior Center is an ongoing civic project that involves floral arranging programs with members of the Council on Aging.

"Ah, everything has changed since I was a youth, except my flowers; that is why I have them so near me, for they are my oldest friends. so I give them the place of honor."
